Terms for Turtle House in ChatGPT

Effective October 10, 2026

Provider and eligibility

Ryan Winiecke operates Turtle House from Texas and provides this plugin for users in the United States. Questions can be sent to r.winiecke@gmail.com.

You must be 13 or older to use the plugin. Users aged 13 through 17 need permission from a parent or legal guardian, who should review these terms with them. Children younger than 13 may not use the plugin. You must also meet the eligibility requirements of ChatGPT and any service you use to sign in.

Use your own authorized Turtle House account. Keep your sign-in information secure and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. Review the permissions when connecting your account to ChatGPT. A connection with read-only permission cannot submit anything unless you approve additional permissions.

What the plugin provides

The plugin lets you browse upcoming and past events your account can access, read event details and aggregate RSVP counts, find free marketplace Offerings, and prepare an event or free-item request for your review and confirmation.

Check the preview before confirming: your account details, event or item, date, time and property timezone, location where applicable, audience, shared information and notification recipients. Confirmation authorizes that reviewed submission. An event with an Everyone audience can be publicly visible as described in its preview. Choose an audience only when you intend to share the event with it.

Free-item requests remain pending until the provider accepts them. A request does not guarantee stock, acceptance, pickup or delivery. Coordinate those details with the provider. Notifications depend on recipient preferences and service availability; a saved event or request does not prove that a message was delivered.

The plugin does not process payments, arrange paid purchases or rentals, change RSVPs, edit or delete events, create Offerings, read discussions, check calendar conflicts or synchronize external calendars. These terms cover the plugin; separate Turtle House website features may have different capabilities.

Your information and content

Provide accurate information and share only content you have permission to use. Do not submit someone else's private information without authority or use the plugin to send unwanted invitations, harass others, publish unlawful content, or interfere with accounts or services. Account, group and invitation limits apply; do not attempt to get around them.

You retain your rights in content you provide. You permit Turtle House to store, process and display it, and to deliver notifications, as needed to carry out your requests and serve the audience you select. This permission remains subject to the privacy policy and applicable deletion rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of Turtle House software, branding or another person's content to you.

The privacy policy explains information shared with ChatGPT, organizers, providers and notification recipients, as well as retention and deletion. You can request account-data deletion at r.winiecke@gmail.com. Copies in your ChatGPT conversations are managed separately through ChatGPT. Disconnecting the plugin does not by itself delete a submitted event or request.

Accuracy and availability

Event and Offering information is supplied by organizers and providers. Check the linked Turtle House record for current details. RSVP counts describe stored responses, not actual attendance. Events before today in the property's timezone are past events; today's events remain in upcoming results.

The plugin is provided as available. Continuous access, error-free responses, notification delivery and fulfillment of an item request are not promised. You remain responsible for checking important arrangements with the people involved. Nothing in these terms limits protections or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Turtle House may restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements or service maintenance. Where practical and lawful, it will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support. You may stop using or disconnect the plugin at any time and may request account-data deletion.

Governing law and questions

Texas law and applicable United States federal law govern these terms, while preserving mandatory protections that apply where you live. For a question or dispute, contact r.winiecke@gmail.com so Ryan can try to resolve it. This contact step does not prevent you from exercising a legal right or meeting a legal deadline.

Changes

Changes to these terms will be published with an updated effective date. Material changes will be identified on the terms page before they take effect, unless an immediate change is required by law or to address an urgent security issue. Continuing to use the plugin after revised terms take effect means using it under those terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You can stop using the plugin if you do not agree.
